I had a question about how you use the Keep open status in Horizon vs the Keep No on the cow detail page.
When we enter a pregnancy check event we can set the repro status to Keep open. On the cowcard, under Edit cow details, we also can use the Keep No option so the cow shows up on the right reports but not for breeding etc.
I have noticed some farms only use the preg check Keep open and do not touch the Keep No in the cow details. I have always liked using both because it keeps the lists cleaner.
How was it originally intended to be used? Always happy to learn from how others set it up.
