I would say that it is the ability to change itselves on time and adapt to the circumstances and technical changes. Lely started in its 1st 10 years as a developping team, without own manufacturing. Then made a whole range of agricultural machinery to be attached to a tractor. Even manufactured tractors and combine harvesers. Build during 20 years prefab houses. Finally after 70 years Lely stepped out of the farm machinery and is since 2018 fully focussed on robots for dairy farmers. What will be the next change?
