Whetherit’s detecting health issues earlier, optimizing milking frequency, improving reproduction results, or fine-tuning feed efficiency — I’m curious which data points or reports have made the biggest difference for you, and how you acted on them.

For me, the most valuable feature in Lely Horizon has been the health monitoring alerts. A few months ago, I noticed the system flagged a drop in rumination for one of my cows, she wasn’t showing obvious signs yet, but I checked her anyway. Turned out she had a mild case of ketosis, and we treated it early.
I don’t have Horizon, just got 9 cows, so I keep it old-school. I watch each cow closely, jot down what I see about their eating, milking, and behavior. It’s not fancy, but noticing small changes early has saved me a bunch of headaches and keeps the herd healthy.
So basically, the system calls out the cows that are acting up like if milk drops or conductivity’s weird, they’ll pop up on your list. Some cows might have tiny changes, like a few less rumination minutes, but if they’re otherwise fine, they stay off the list. You can see who’s new, who’s already being treated, and if things are getting better or worse. Makes it easy to focus on the cows that actually need help, and you can even adjust how early you want the alerts.
just the easiness of it, everything is checked, the fetch cows task is always my favourite, and also it iust makes barn life easier to manage. It does not take away the work or the effort but it eases the work and the effort you as a farmer have to put in
