Decision support Lely Horizon uses smart algorithms based on experiences of thousands of dairy farmers worldwide. The application elevates the data to forecast performances and offers the farmer clear choices. For instance, it indicates clearly ketosis suspected cows at an early stage. Knowing that about 40% of all dairy cows suffer from ketosis, early treatment directly prevents losses. Horizon also provides fact based decision support on whether to inseminate or not.
Optimised farm flow Lely Horizon makes the farmers day more effective by unburdening them from routine decision-making. It optimises the workflow by offering valuable insights at the right time and place. Integrated routines, based on easily scheduled cow touches, create logic and more efficient workflows. You can start task based working with direct access to daily routines and necessary actions, to customise your preferred way of working. It’s even possible to assign a certain cow flow to an employee and to schedule a time slot for the cow touch, rather than to analyse different reports and filter tasks.
Connecting and combining Horizon is not a platform for Lely solutions only. If you choose to do so, it’s open to partners and the farmers’ partners too. Connecting and combining the available data in a complete solution for the farmer. This means that entering the same data in two separate systems will become history. Another advantage is that analysing individual data in different applications and reports belongs to the past, which will save time on a daily basis. Current connections with farm management applications like Dairy Comp, Uniform-Agri, CRV and Herde already enable farmers to synchronise information about calving and inseminations between applications. Our ambition is to continue to connect more partners over time, in order to hand the farmer more and more smart data.
Important to know: you are always in control over your own data, by personally managing the data exchange approvals. We believe in a solid platform complying to ICAR Animal Data Exchange standards. Protection of the data for both farmers as well as partners is secured through this. The decision to take advantage of third-party information and data is always yours; even without this option, Horizon offers you valuable analysis and support.
Easy to use Horizon offers an intuitive user interface that gives swift access to all the information needed. This interface will be the same on any device. Clear customised dashboards are always available, when and where required.
