Report 35 Visit behavior shows the results of the milk access settings for individual cows. By default, the report is sorted according to milk yield per milking, so the cows at the top and bottom of the report should be checked.
Go to Reports > Milking -> Report 35 – Milking – Visit Behavior
Some rules of thumb:
- If the average milk yield per milking is much lower than 10 kg (22 lb), then the cow is being milked too frequently and the milk access settings should be adjusted.
- If the average milk yield per milking is much higher than10 kg (22 lb), the cows can be milked more frequently. In these cases, the Milk frequency column should be compared with the Avg Milkings column to find out whether the access settings should be changed or whether the cow simply does not enter the robot in time.
