Lely Horizon's task-based working concept is designed to optimize farming by establishing clear, efficient routines. Now, with significant enhancements to the mobile interface, farmers can easily perform their planned tasks directly from their mobile devices while walking around the barn.

After receiving invaluable improvement suggestions from the field, we decided it was time to refresh the mobile tasks. Significant changes have been made not only to the appearance of both default and custom tasks but also to their functionality.

What’s new?

Refined Design:

Enhanced Readability: We’ve re-evaluated the position and size of text, giving more space to the most relevant information for each task.

Improved Header: The revised header provides ample space for crucial information, making it easier to unassign tasks or switch between grid and table views. 

Optimized Space: By reducing white space, more information is now available at a glance.

Intuitive Interactions:

Main Actions: Tapping the middle of the field triggers the main task action (e.g., the dry-off entry for dry-off tasks).

Secondary Actions: Swipe left to access secondary actions.

Cow Card Access: Swipe right to directly open the cow card.

Batch Entries: Use the checkboxes to select multiple cows and enter batch entries via the + button.

Comprehensive Onboarding Flow: To assist farmers in adapting to the new task system, a detailed onboarding flow has been developed. This includes an informative page accessible from any task, providing:
