Cows listed in the dry off task with an increased risk of developing udder health issues after calving are marked with an alert. If a cow meets one or more of the following criteria over the previous 60 days in lactation, an alert will be shown in the dry off task:

- increased SCC;

- increased conductivity on one or more quarters and/or

- registered mastitis treatments.

The parameters for that cow that deviate from the standard will be shown in the screen that pops up after clicking on the alert. This information will help decide which dry off method best suits the cow’s needs.

Please note: this alert is for information purposes only, as we cannot recommend a specific treatment. Consequently, as a farmer you will not be able to carry out any actions on the alert screen itself. To carry out an action, close the screen and select an action from the dry off task.
