Kitchen empty alarm

The most recurring Vector alarm is the kitchen empty alarm. Does this surprise you?

Maybe you wait until you receive the alarm to refill the kitchen. Or are you taken by surprise at night? Whatever your case is, let’s aim for less alarms! To do so, it is helpful to have clear and daily routines for yourself. For example, check on the feed kitchen, every day, at planned moments. It is important to be aware of your stock to avoid surprises.

  • That Kitchen Empty Alarm is definitely the most frequent, and usually the most preventable, alarm you get!

We found the best way to keep that alarm silent is to treat the "Stock Low Warning" (the one that pops up before the empty alarm) as the actual mandatory task marker, not just a suggestion.

Setting up a consistent, daily check at 1-2 pre-planned moments helps, but adjusting the Minimum Stock Level setting for each product can also give you a bigger buffer (more minutes of feed) to work with, especially on those rapidly consumed products.
